Text message scam reported
The department is aware that text messages have been received by members of the public from “IDAS” advising that an amount of funds are available for the receiver’s account and to click a link. The department believes this is a scam. The text messages should be deleted.

Under section 417-421 of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 (SPA) the minister may exercise their power to direct:

  • assessment managers to forward particular assessment or future applications for a particular development to the minister and/or include conditions
  • concurrence agencies
  • applicants to comply with aspects or stages of IDAS.

Similar provisions are included in section 3.6.1 of the Integrated Planning Act 1997.

  • 40 level commercial office tower and podium, providing an additional 69,403m2 of gross floor area on part of the existing Regent Theatre and Wintergarden Shopping Centre.
  • Internal and external refurbishment of existing Wintergarden shopping centre and Hilton Hotel.
  • Façade upgrade with pedestrian shelter to all street frontages.
  • Integrated basement, podium car park, and servicing areas.
  • Demolition of existing Elizabeth Street vehicular access ramps and pedestrian viaduct across Queen St.
