On 14 September 2016, the Deputy Premier, Minister for Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and Minister for Trade and Investment called in the development application for West Village in West End and South Brisbane.

On 26 September 2016, the applicant provided a response to the request (PDF icon 1 MB).

On 18 October 2016, the department received a letter from the West End Community Association (PDF icon 241 KB) which provided the following documents:

On 2 November 2016, West End Community Association provided a package of alternative design drawings (PDF icon 3 MB), a perspective view inside a proposed archway (PDF icon 2.2 MB) and a cover letter (PDF icon 231 KB).
